Parents Guide

Welcome to Club Treasure World (CTW) where Treasure hunters from around the globe can show off their collections, creations and music found by using the Nintendo DS and Treasure World game by Aspyr Media, Inc. CTW is a safe and kid-friendly environment that encourages friendships and offers extended gameplay, hints, Treasure maps and discussion on the finer merits of Treasure hunting. CTW offers fun for all ages and peace of mind for parents.

There is no third-party advertising and it is free to join for anyone. But it is strongly encouraged that Club members purchase and play Treasure World for the Nintendo DS. Through the DS game players collect thousands of Treasures by finding many of the millions of wireless signals found in neighborhoods, cafes, libraries, schools and business. Through the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection the save data from the game uploads and populates the Club Member's personal Web page. It's really quite fun.

Club Member Safety

At Club Treasure World we believe parental involvement is critical in keeping children safe online. We work in partnership with parents to support them in their efforts by providing safety measures

Club Safety Tools

  • On-site staff (monitors)
  • ESRB Privacy Online Program
  • Parental controls
  • Email updates to parents about their child's online Club activity
  • Profanity filters are on all message boards and forums so that offensive text is not displayed
  • Abuse report buttons that alerts us to distasteful or questionable content

We at Aspyr Media, Inc. encourage parents to review the following safety precautions with their children:

  • Never give out personal information, such as your real name, age, present location, phone number or school.
  • Never share your password with anyone except your parents. Someone else might use your password and pretend to be you, give out your personal information or do something that may get you into trouble.
  • Tell your parents if someone says or does something on the Internet that makes you uncomfortable, or if someone asks you for personal information.
  • Choose a username that does not reflect your real identity. Avoid names that are in any way suggestive, even if they seem innocent to you.

Manage Accounts

Parents have complete control over their child's permissions. To gain access and view your child's page log in, or create a parent account.
